قناة الشرقية هي جزء من مجموعة اعلامية
اهلية وخاصة لا ترتبط بأية حكومة او جماعة سياسية او دينية في منطقة الشرق الاوسط.

الشرقية هي أول
قناة تلفزيونية خاصة ومستقلة تغطي العراق بالبث الأرضي وتصل إلى ستة وعشرين مليون
مشاهد عراقي واكثر من مئة مليون مشاهد عربي داخل البلدان العربية وفي المهاجر
إضافة إلى بثها عبر ثلاثة أقمار صناعية HOTBIRD , ARABSAT , NILESAT والقمر
الاسترالي .

تبث القناة على مدى أربع وعشرين ساعة من كل من المدينة الإعلامية في دبي
والاستوديو العام للقناة في مدينة لندن واستوديو القناة في مدينة عمان ولديها مكاتب رئيسية في كلا من اربيل والقاهرة
ودمشق وبغداد والبصرة اضافة الى مراسلين يعملون من تركيا ، باكستان ، افغانستان ،
ايران ، فرنسا ، روسيا ، الولايات المتحدة ، المانيا ، هولندا ، السويد ، اسبانيا
، اوكرانيا اضافة الى جميع الدول العربية
، وتتسم برامجها بالتنوع حيث تضم برامج الرياضة والاخبار وقضايا الساعة
والموسيقى والاغاني والدراما والكوميديا وعروض الازياء والمسابقات والبرامج
الوثائقية والعلمية وقضايا الثقافة .

اختارت القناة التلفزيونية (الشرقية) أسماً لها لما يحمله من معنى يجسد روح
الشرق كمنبع للفنون والمعرفة من دون ان يعكس هذا الاسم هوية سياسية أو عقائدية أو
يمثل دولة ما أو منطقة ما في الشرق الأدنى والاوسط .

للقناة التلفزيونية موقع على شبكة الانترنت يعرض الأخبار على مدار الساعة
ويطرح قضايا الفنون والعلوم والمسابقات والثقافة ويفتح الباب للمناقشات ويقدم
استطلاعات الرأي وهو باللغة العربية ويبدأ بالتوافق مع بدء البث الكامل للمحطة في
منتصف شهر مايو 2004 .

وجرى اختيار قناة الشرقية هذا العام والأعوام الماضية باعتبارها القناة
الأولى والأكثر مصداقية ومشاهدة في العراق كما جرى اختيارها واحدة من اهم عشرة
قنوات تبث باللغة العربية الى المشاهدين في الكويت والإمارات والسعودية والأردن
وسوريا.

of private media group not affiliated to any particular government or political
or religious group in the Middle East Region.

AL-Sharqiya TV
covering Iraq, is the first private and independent television channel million
Iraqi viewers and more than 26 reaching up to through ground broadcasting and
one hundred million Arab viewers in the Arab countries and exile in addition to
broadcasting through three satellites HOTBIRD, NIELSAT and the ARABSAT,
Australian satellite.

The channel airs
twenty-four hours from each of the Media City in Dubai and the General Studio
of the channel in the City of London and Channel’s Studio in the city of Amman
and it has main offices in Erbil and Cairo, Damascus,
Baghdad and Basra, as well as reporters working from Turkey, Pakistan,
Afghanistan, Iran, France, Russia, United States, Germany, Holland, Sweden,
Spain, Ukraine, in addition to all Arab countries. Its programs are
characterized by diversity, including sports and news programs and issues of
the day, music, songs, drama, comedy and fashion shows, competitions and
documentaries, scientific programs and issues of culture.

The TV channel
(Al-Sharqiya) selected its name due to the meaning which embodies the spirit of
the East as a source for arts and knowledge without reflecting the identity
whether political or ideological or representing particular country or region
in the Near and Middle East.

The channel identified
itself across the channel and other TV channels and newspapers published in
Iraq, inside and outside Arab countries and across the street ads in a number
of Arab cities.
- The television channel has a Web site displays the news around the
clock and deals with the issues of arts, science, competitions, culture and opens
the door for discussions and opinion polls. This web site is in the Arabic
language and started in line with the start of the full broadcast of the
station in mid-May 2004.

Al-Sharqiya
channel was selected this year and past years as the first channel and the most
credible and seen in Iraq. It has also been selected as one of the top ten
channels broadcasting in Arabic to viewers in Kuwait and the UAE, Saudi Arabia,
Jordan and Syria.

technicians, program planners and presenters and reporters work in the channel.
